How do I designate a beneficiary? If you elect a life annuity with 120 months guaranteed, you will be required to complete a beneficiary designation form. If you are married, your spouse is automatically your beneficiary under the Plan unless your spouse waives this right. If you are not married and fail to designate a beneficiary, or if your designated beneficiary dies prior to your death, the death benefit will be paid to your estate. |
