Appendix A Normal Retirement Pension |
|
For Participants or former Participants who are in pay status on or prior to January 1, 2000, the monthly amount of your Normal Retirement Pension, payable in the form of a Single Life Annuity is the total of your Credited Past Service benefit plus your Credited Future Service benefit: Credited Past Service Benefit 
$4.00 per month for each year of
Credited Past Service earned after December 31, 1985, plus
$4.40 per month for each year of
Credited Past Service earned before January 1, 1986.Credited Future Service Benefit, the sum of A and B A. For Credited Future Service earned before January 1, 1994:
4.00% of total Employer contributions
made on your behalf after December 31, 1985, plus
4.40% of total Employer contributions
made on your behalf before January 1, 1986; andB. For Credited Future service earned after December 31,1993
4.0% of Employer contributions made on
behalf of each Participant who is designated by the Trustees as a Class A
member, and
4.5% of Employer contributions made on
behalf of each Participant who is designated by the Trustees as a Class B
member.If you were in Covered Employment on January 1, 1996, the benefit you earned as of December 31, 1995 was increased by 25%.If you terminated Covered Employment prior to January 1, 1996, your benefit as of December 31, 1995 was increased by 25% if you returned to Covered Employment and completed an additional two years of Credited Future Service. Effective January 1, 2000, your benefit in effect as of December 31, 1999 was increased by 10%. |
